You operate at the Workstream level, bridging program strategy and initiative execution within your functional area. You review and approve initiatives that come through your Workstream, track their performance during execution, and make sure they deliver the benefits your area committed to. This course shows you how to do that inside the App.
The course follows the five-stage governance lifecycle: Idea, Plan, Execute, Realize, and Complete. A shared introduction covers the stage-gate process and how approvals work across roles. Each lesson after that focuses on your responsibilities at one stage. You will use the Workstream tab to assess pipeline health, the Approvals tab to act as gatekeeper during Plan, the Strategy, Roadmap, and RAID tabs to monitor execution, and the Workstream tab again during Realize to track aggregated benefit data and compare Plan, Forecast, and Actual values.
Each lesson includes short screen recordings and on-screen text. The course takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
To earn your completion, finish all seven lessons. A feedback survey is included at the end of your Learning Path. Your input helps us improve the content for future learners.
Additional Investment Governance courses are available in the Shibumi University catalog. Reviewing the Transformation Team or Initiative Team courses can give you useful context for how your role connects to the broader governance process.
